Chore Points / Chores and Rewards

C# Blazor Server ApplicationPostgres BackendDocker

ChorePoints is a free family app where parents set chores, rewards, and consequences. Kids earn points, redeem them for privileges, and access their own PIN-secured area.

ChorePoints is a family-oriented web application designed to bring structure, clarity, and positive motivation to household responsibilities. It provides parents with a simple system for creating chores, assigning point values, defining meaningful rewards, and applying consequences when expectations aren’t met. The platform helps families build consistency and accountability through a balanced mix of encouragement and guidance.

Parents can set up daily, weekly, or one-time chores, each with customizable point amounts that reflect effort or importance. Rewards can be anything the family chooses—screen time, treats, activities, or privileges—and children redeem their earned points when they’ve met the required threshold. Consequences can also be defined for moments when rules are broken or responsibilities are ignored, allowing parents to subtract points or apply structured penalties.

Each child has a dedicated, PIN-secured area where they can view their chores, track progress, complete tasks, and choose rewards. Parents approve completions and redemptions, ensuring fairness and transparency while keeping kids engaged in the process.

ChorePoints is currently free to use and built to be lightweight, fast, and accessible on any device. It offers families a practical, easy-to-adopt way to encourage responsibility, reinforce good habits, and make everyday routines more enjoyable.
